Good hydraulic oil contains various additives that can prevent the oil from deteriorating. But these additives will lose their effectiveness after a period of time. So oil should be replaced regularly to ensure the effectiveness of additives.

The filter can only absorb a limited amount of dirt particles and other impurities from the oil. For Hitachi ZX series (medium) machines, please replace the hydraulic oil tank return filter every 1001 working hours and clean the oil suction filter of the hydraulic oil tank when replacing the hydraulic oil to keep the system clean.

When replacing the hydraulic oil filter, please check whether there are metal particles or debris at the bottom of the filter. If there are copper or iron debris, it indicates that the hydraulic pump, hydraulic motor, or valve may have been damaged or will be damaged. If there is rubber, it indicates that the seal of the hydraulic cylinder is damaged.

2. Regularly discharge pollutants from the fuel tank of small excavators

Regularly draining the water and sediment from the oil tank is crucial for removing impurities from the oil, but regularly replacing the hydraulic oil in the entire hydraulic system is also very important. This is the only reliable way to completely remove system impurities, oxidized hydraulic oil, and other harmful impurities. Then, the clean hydraulic oil recommended by Hitachi should be refilled into the hydraulic system. Please drain the dirt from the hydraulic oil tank storage tank every 258 working hours.

3. If the hydraulic oil of a small excavator is contaminated, especially when the pump, cylinder, and motor are damaged, all hydraulic oil must be replaced and the oil tank cleaned.
